Media Markt (Bischofsheim)
Impolite and attitude.
This is why I hate shopping at your stores;
I tried to have my *five* days old LG G4 replaced at Media Markt in Bischofsheim. I know, a difficult situation, you're not obliged to do that, yes we all know that.
Down at the service point, I was told that it'd be no problem since that's LG's way of handling this kind of stuff. My device has "light bleeding". A phenomenon on bad LCD screens or panels, known and described as a *defect". Seriously, look it up. As I walked upstairs to the area smartphones are sold, a young lady approached me and asked if she could help me. I told her the situation at which point she became very impolite and arrogant. She did not believe me as if I'd make things up. WTF! She didn't let me demonstrate the issue and just called for her colleagues, which then tried to convince me that light bleeding is a *feature* on LCD panels. Again, WTactualF! At this point she was completely ignoring me. She called the service point to f*cking verify my statement! And again, WTF! Yes, she still thinks I'm lying. Thank god, service point confirmed my words. Good, looks like I can have my defective device replaced. But no, Ms. I-think-you're-a-filthy-liar-despite-me-knowing-shit-about-you is looking for backup in the smartphone area to not hand me a replacement. Yes, looks like her sole purpose is to f*ck up my day. She comes back and tells me that I have to send the device to LG. Attention: Not because she want's to help me, no, she literally said " (.) so they check if there's actually a defect or malfunction. " She told me they'll give me a temporary replacement device until "LG checks whether I'm lying or not" (not her words!). I was still holding my nerves and kept being polite. I said, "ok, but I can't do that now, I'm gonna take my device and come back when I find a spare phone". She then became very insistent and asked why I don't want to have the temprary replacement device, in the most obnoxious way possible. Actually, she kept her extremely impolite attitude the whole conversation, hence my rage.
I understand that some things need to be veryfied. But I can't believe that I'm being treated like a theft for asking to have a replacement for a device in mint condition I paid the full price for, a couple days earlier. Sending it in also wouldn't be a problem at all if this young lady wasn't a complete pain in the ass. This is why I'm going to stop buying sh*t at your stores and I WILL try to convince everyone I know to stop, too. Online shops FTW!
