I have ordered some articles from Amazon and I have chosen the Hermes packet shop as the delivery address. The order was under the name of my Fiancé. But the ID card that he has is a temporary one.
Because he is as a refugee in Germany and this is exactly the correct paper that he must have! And the packet shop near us did not accept this kind of document. However, this is the exact temporary id card for the refugees in Germany and we have explained that at the packet shop that this is exactly the right one.
This kind of document has photo of owner and the address! What else could be needed that they did not accept the legal German ID document for a person who live in Germany!
I have written this issue for the Hermes as a complaint as well, because that was really bothering me. After the problem I have tried to solve this under support of Amazon and they have also supported me. But the other orders are not coming to my address anymore!
Till now, there are 2 other orders that they are signed as the out of delivery! And I did not get any kind of note in the post box!
I would really like to know what is happening in the case and why is the Hermes service not supporting us and not caring about our problem with the parcels?

I am sorry to hear that your Fiancé was not able to pick up the parcel from the parcel shop.
Unfortunately, at this time it is only possible to pick up parcels using a vaild state issued ID card or a (national or international) passport.

according to the German law, this kind of document is exactly the refuge’s Id card before the complete approval of the process! And if this is not acceptable, all the refugees in Germany could not have a post from Hermes for at leas first 18 Months!
I hope somebody could answer me this kind of inhumanity behavior of such a company!

für solch Statuten interessiert sich sicherlich die Antidiskriminierungsstelle.
Zeitweilig mach ich es mir zur Aufgabe Hermes ein bißchen Nachhilfe zu erteilen. Dank Ihrer Recherche hab ich mal wieder eine Lücke entdeckt.
